Painting practice, I was looking through some birding photos from a past outing and was appreciating the way light had fallen across the face of an eagle I’d seen. Converting birds into dragons is a fun method of lighting study. Not exactly meant to be the same but still trying to learn from and incorporate real life reference. There’s a bit of turkey vulture in this dragon about the nose as well, I love me a good vulture.
